The only company in the south of Ukraine that is a manufacturer of casting of ferrous and nonferrous metals for engineering is the Odessa plant "Tsentrolit." This is the biggest producer in the Southern region of ferrous metals. Along with the steel-smelting shops of machine-building enterprises the factory "Tsentrolit" represents the base metals engineering of Odessa area and Ukraine economy. JSC "Stalmetiz" produces hardware, low-carbon steel wire, steel ropes, welding electrodes, etc.

For construction companies and road engineering JSC Holding is the "edge", which produces valves for pneumatics, "Plant COM" and AP PSBs "Stroygidravlika", produce transmissions for construction machinery (cranes, graders, bulldozers, excavators), hydraulic pumps, pneumatic appliances, mosaic-polishing machines. These plants are evenly distributed on the Odessa map.

The country's only enterprise producing mine hoists for coal and mining industry gears for cranes and elevators is the JSC "Odessa Engineering Works" Red Guard ".

JSC "Kislorodmash" is producing oxygen equipment for gas-flame processing of metals, oxygen plants and equipment (compressors).
